Entrepreneur and real estate financial analyst Tomas (Tom) Velken is the founder and principal of Viking Real Estate Group, a full-service real estate investment firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. There, he provides customized financial consultation to clients interested in real estate investments. With the interest of his customers in mind, Tom Velken has also established a broad network of commercial and residential lenders in an effort to create as many competitive and viable funding sources for his clients' real estate lending needs.

Away from the office, Tom Velken combines his passions for music and helping others by playing bass guitar in the cover band OPM, which performs at fund-raisers. Over the past 10 years, he and his bandmates have raised more than $100,000 for local schools and nonprofit organizations.

Tomas Velken also enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking and playing soccer. He also enjoys traveling. Among many domestic destinations, he has also traveled abroad; visiting Italy, the Caribbean Islands, England, Wales and Norway. Closer to home, he likes to watch sports and follows the Minnesota Vikings and Manchester United FC.
